About Me: Ella Wuichet

This web page was produced as an assignment for an undergraduate course at Davidson College.

Hello! My name is Ella Wuichet, and I am a sophomore majoring in biology and minoring in neuroscience. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia, and I spent my first year of college at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) before transferring to Davidson. I am broadly interested in all the “small” aspects of biology, including categories like molecular biology and immunology, but after working in Dr. Lom’s lab this semester, I have gained an immense interest in developmental biology. Although I am not yet sure of my specific biological focus, after college, I intend to pursue a Ph.D. in a biology-related field and then maybe go into science writing or consulting after that. When I am not doing schoolwork, I love to read and spend time outdoors with friends. I love to talk and meet new people, so please say hello if you see me around!
